Week 8 - Zoho Writer

Another week gone by and haven't done a thing and some annoying people are already finished but i have an excuse, new baby in the family & a sick mother. Back to Web 2.0, I don't want to whinge but i had awful trouble with Zoho. I tried typing up a document and it DIDN'T SAVE, TWICE!! Luckily i guessed i had a problem and copied into a word document before logging out and in again because my document wasn't there when i got back in. I then copied & pasted back to Zoho from word. I had an idea that first time I didn't give document a title, I'm not sure if that would matter or it could have been my interent connection. Also the spell checker doesn't pick up lower case letters eg name of month or at start of sentence, only spelling. With my Christmas cake recipe Zoho hadn't heard of macademia or towel (is there an american spelling i'm not aware of?) I can see benefit of Zoho with sharing documents as I have had many a difficulty in downloading documents in different formats but without a reliable internet connection you could be in trouble. Nevertheless I persevered and my second document was published relatively easily so I can now share my quick-mix Christmas cake recipe for all those (like me) are time poor.
