Week 4 - RSS feeds and newslines

I was a little disappointed to find out i actually hadn't done this exercise but after a slow start I think i'm actually beginning to enjoy this! Yesterday i signed up for bloglines account (not another password!!) and set up some RSS feeds. I already have some RSS feeds on my browser but this exercise showed me more i wanted to subscribe to. I was particularly interested in Library Bytes - Helene Blowers blog as i found a graph showing the use of social networking & internet sites by teens (millenials). (see above) It backs up what i learnt on monday. There was also a quote on one of Lynetters images from Flickr which i can't quite remember, something like 'when people begin to stop thinking about something as technology it begins to have an impact'. I imagine many of these tools we are using will soon become commonplace and familiar.
ps. Ebscohost RSS feeds would be a benefit for many of my library users and i will be recommending this option in the future. Thankyou for this hint.
